Now through May 27, 2015, these paintings, drawings, photography, digital artwork, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, and videos can be seen in D-E’s Imperatore Library and at the Taub Center, where Mathematical Art projects from Paul Jung’s Middle School Math classes are also on view.
Visual Arts faculty member Rachel Brusky, who helped coordinate the Challenge, says: “The artwork in this show is inspired by different aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. While viewing the work, you are invited to reflect on the connections that the artists are making and that you perceive between these subjects. Additionally, this show represents the transition from STEM to STEAM, which incorporates art and design into the study and practice of the STEM subjects.”
A reception for the show will be held on Wednesday, May 6, from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM in the Imperatore Library.
Located in Englewood, New Jersey, Dwight-Englewood is a greater New York City area private school with a rigorous college prep curriculum for boys and girls in preschool through grade 12.
