One of the strengths of Summer Connections program is its flexibility. We offer classes for all ages, Early Childhood as well as grades 1 - 12. The offerings also range from one to six weeks and from two hours to the entire day. Most importantly, these classes can be part of a variety of programs including Adventures, Enrichment, and Scholars. Some athletic courses are targeted to introduce a sport and others are meant for experienced athletes. In other words, there are many opportunities to affect our explorers' lives in a variety of ways.

The Discoveries (Pre-K and Kindergarten) and Adventures (Grades 1 - 4) programs employ lead teachers and counselors to support their program. These teachers are expected to be involved with the program throughout the entire day (8:00 am - 3:30 pm).

For students in the Middle School (grades 5 - 8) and Upper School (grades 9 - 12), they can make choices from the Enrichment or Scholars Programs. The Enrichment courses are one or two weeks each for two hours. Our scholars register for classes that start June 25 and end July 27. These courses are either introductory courses which are 2 hours long or advancement courses which are held from 8:20 AM - 1:35 PM.

At Summer Connections, we are constantly looking for new offerings that will ignite students' curiosity and a passion for learning. To propose a course, please feel free to send your resume along with an outline and a description of the class.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our office by e-mail at summerprograms@d-e.org or call us at (201) 569-9500 ext. 3501.
