WHY DID YOU CHOOSE D-E? The public middle school in my town had a negative reputation, so my parents pushed me to look for a school that had a more inviting and academically rigorous environment. When I first visited D-E, I knew I would find it here, and I certainly did. 
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE YOU INVOLVED IN?:  Editor of Calliope, Director of Operations and Logistics in Model UN, Senior Mentor, Tour Guide Leader, Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Lacrosse captain, Orchestra Pit for Winter Musical
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST ABOUT D-E?  I love how accessible the teachers and faculty are for their students. Their passion for what they teach coupled with their readiness to work individually with students makes them a great resource. I have found that students really take advantage of this, and I know that I have benefitted immensely from visiting a teacher in his/her office when a question pops up.
