The official All-County Softball Teams have been announced and two Dwight-Englewood softball players have been recognized. After being unanimously selected as All-League First Team players for the BCSL Olympic Division, Sara Brescia '10 and Shantel Mendez '10 have been voted in as Third Team All-County players. All-County teams are selected and voted on by the Bergen County coaches of the league winning teams.

Varsity Softball Head Coach Matthew Schukis proudly reported:  "Since there are only two catchers and four outfielders per All-County team, Sara is being recognized as one of the top six softball catchers and Shantel is being recognized as one of the top twelve softball outfielders in all of Bergen County. Both of these players will be participating in the Bergen Vs. Passaic All-Star Game on Wednesday, June 9th in Wanaque.  In addition to these end of the year honorees, freshman infielder, Haley Brescia received an Honorable Mention from the BCSL Olympic Division.  Congratulations to these fine D-E athletes for their achievements!"
