Dwight-Englewood Performing Arts broke new ground recently with the performance of the 2011 Student-Directed One-Acts at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (Bergen PAC)! The plays showed the skill of Dwight-Englewood Upper School students to not only act but also direct, bringing entire shows together on their own initiative.
All the plays centered around one central theme: dating. Casts ranged in number from two to six members. From the hilarious to strange, all the plays were funny and got a good laugh out of the audience. Everyone involved put in a lot of work and effort, with expert guidance, support and encouragement from Carla Moriarty, faculty member with the School's Performing Arts Department. Ms. Moriarty also made all the costumes.
Located in Englewood, New Jersey, Dwight-Englewood is a greater New York City area private school with a rigorous college prep curriculum for boys and girls in preschool through grade 12.
