Intrigue, glamour, gaming and much more will be awaiting all guests at this year’s Dwight-Englewood School Gala Auction and Dinner Dance! Scheduled for tonight, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Rockleigh Country Club, “A Night in Monte Carlo” has already been recognized as THE event of the year.
A bi-annual special event, this year's Auction will once again include a silent auction during the cocktail reception, followed by dinner and dancing. This year's offerings of live and silent auction items that are up for bid range from reservations at New York's most critically-acclaimed restaurants and Broadway play, Giants, Jets, and Yankees tickets,... to specialty gift items and once-in-a-lifetime international trip packages. Click here for a full list (PDF) of all our 2012 Silent and Live Auction items!
Another Auction tradition is the honoring of D-E faculty and staff members, for their years of service and dedication to the School. The 2012 selection committee has announced the names of this year’s honorees: John King, Chair of the Math Department, Diane Christian, Upper School English Faculty, Maureen Krane, Lower School Nurse, and Bea Movsesian, Director of Special Events. All are respected members of the Dwight-Englewood community, who represent a combined total of 95 years of service to the School, and have had a strong influence on the lives of many students.
All net proceeds from the Auction go to support the D-E Faculty & Staff Fund.
Don't miss what promises to be an evening to remember! Reservations are coming in daily from current parents, alumni and friends of the School. All in our D-E community who are interested in attending are encouraged to send their RSVP Reservation in now before it's too late!
Located in Englewood, New Jersey, Dwight-Englewood is a greater New York City area private school with a rigorous college prep curriculum for boys and girls in preschool through grade 12.
