And here’s a recap of our teams and their season:
Varsity Football: 4-1, with the only loss coming at the hands of defending Hudson Valley League Champs and undefeated Horace Mann. The Bulldogs close out their regular season tomorrow at Winton White Stadium in downtown Englewood at 3:30, when they host Dalton.

The Bulldogs have been truly driven in 2014. Winning their first three games by a total of 5 points, the Bulldogs have a gritty team defense that has made several goal line stops to prevent what would have been game-winning two-point conversions. They have a balanced offense, the ability to beat you with the pass. Junior quarterback Aaron Haskel ‘16 has hooked up with senior wide receiver Jason Dargan ‘15 for four touchdowns. And on the ground, junior fullback Dallas Devlin ‘16 has pounded the ball up the middle for three touchdowns while senior tailback Aleem James ‘15 has used his breakaway speed to rush for three touchdowns as well. Field goal kicker Martin Lecole ‘15 is also a weapon in the Bulldogs offensive arsenal.

At the last home game of the season tomorrow, five Bulldog seniors will be honored in a pre-game ceremony: Jason Dargan ‘15, Luke Drobner ‘15, Aleem James, Martin Lecole and Ryan Levin ‘15. A win over Dalton would clinch a berth in the Hudson Valley League Championship Bowl game back at Horace Mann on November 8! It's a big game for the Bulldogs, so for those who can't attend the game, you can follow it online at https://www.youtube.com/user/njorgvarsity.

Varsity Boys' Cross Country: UNDEFEATED LEAGUE CHAMPIONS for the second year in a row! They will be running in the County Championships on Saturday at Darlington Park! It's been an incredible ride for the team, which is comprised of a crew of seasoned seniors: Ryan Semsel ‘15, who won the league championship race; David Lysenko ‘15, Yu Omiya ‘15, Clement Wong ‘15 and Spencer Papay ‘15. Having developed their talents over the last three years, they have enjoyed one of the greatest seasons in school history. The seniors were ably assisted by sophomores Zane Diaz ‘17 and Michael Kavaler ‘17, who will be charged with the challenge of carrying on the tradition of excellence!

Varsity Girls' Cross Country: Finished fourth in the league championship race and ended the season with a winning dual meet record of 5-3! Led by junior Tara Satnick ‘16, who finished second overall in the league championship race, the girls' team is made up of veterans senior Nicki Mohammadi ‘15, junior Claudine Chartouni ‘16 and sophomore Julia Beckett ‘17 and newcomers sophomore Noa Levin ‘17, junior Emma Arang ‘16 and freshman Lily Arang ‘18.

Varsity Girls' Tennis: CO-LEAGUE CHAMPIONS and CO-COUNTY CHAMPIONS! Can you say... Dynasty? Well, if winning three state championships, nine county championships and 12 league titles qualifies, then the Bulldog tennis team is, without a doubt, a dynasty! This year's team is 16-3 heading into this Saturday's final match of the season vs. Saddle River Day. The Lady Bulldogs are led by seniors Victoria Petrenko ‘15 at 2nd singles, Leah Primak ‘15 at thirdsingles, Shereen Al-Sawwaf ‘15 and Olivia Yi ‘15 at first doubles and Evangelina Leventis ‘15 and Shira Federman ‘15 at second doubles, plus freshman sensation Beata Liberchuk ‘18 at first singles.

Varsity Girls' Soccer: 12-5 on the season and qualified for County and States! Junior captain Taylor Krakower ‘16 leads the team with 49 goals on the season! She is on pace to break Rachel Cole '12’s single season mark set in 2011. Freshman Bella Patino ‘18 is also on pace to set a single season assist record, with 28 assists recorded thus far. Fellow freshman Julietta Thron ‘18 anchors the defense for the Bulldogs. This Saturday will be a big day for the Lady Bulldogs as they look to avenge last weekend’s loss to the Saddle River Day Rebels! Special shoutout to the team’s two seniors, Emily Goldner '15 and Giulia Panter '15, on Senior Day!

Varsity Boys' Soccer: The boys are 10-6 on the season and qualified for County and States! The Bulldog attack is led by senior captain David Victor ‘15, who leads the team with 23 goals. Fellow senior captains Tyler Perin ‘15 and Maxwell Song ‘15 have been hobbled with injuries, however, when healthy, they controlled the midfield. Juniors Eric Topfer ‘16, Martin Schecter ‘16, Christian Quijano ‘16 and Jared Pomerantz ‘16, along with sophomore Harrison Platt ‘17, freshmen Nate Song ‘18, Ethan Weksler ‘18 and Ethan Pusch ‘18 have all had major contributions to the team’s success. However, this year’s team and tomorrow’s game will be all about the 13 seniors! Along with the three captains, the team will honor Lars Arienti ‘15, Jon Feikens ‘15, Jared Finkel ‘15, James Martin ‘15, Yanal Matari ‘15, Liam Obergfoll ‘15, Josh Swerdlow ‘15, Kabir Uttamsingh ‘15, Basil Williams ‘15 and Jonathan Zhang ‘15 when the Bulldogs take on the Rebels from Saddle River Day!

Varsity Volleyball: The team is currently 9-9 on the season and qualified for the elusive State Tournament for the first time in school history! The Bulldogs’ teamwork on the court is nothing short of inspiring. Leading the effort is senior captain Stella Mayer ‘15, who is also leading the team in kills (120) and digs (187), as well as junior setter Alexandra Gerstel ‘16, who broke the school record for assists in a single season (203). Other notables: junior Olivia Garcia ‘16 leads the team with aces (48) while senior captain Lexi Mayer ‘15 leads the team with blocks (17).

Field Hockey: 8-9 on the season, and qualified for County and States! Won 3-0 over Wayne Valley on Senior Night! Senior Isabel Guerriero ‘15 scored twice and sophomore Belicia Rodriguez ‘17 scored her first career goal, while senior Olivia D'Alessandro ‘15 picked up the assist. Senior Stasia Kuske ‘15 preserved the shutout, recording eight saves. Sophomores Katie Anderson ‘17, Sydney Zahn ‘17 and Alana Jennis ‘17 all made key contributions in the victory! A special shoutout to seniors India June ‘15 and Jamie Schile-Morales ‘15 was done on Senior Night.
