All in the D-E School community are invited to the 6th annual Fiesta Mexicana, taking place Thursday, May 14! The fiesta will be held in the Wharton Lessin Dining Hall in the Klein Campus Center, starting at 6:00 PM with appetizers showcasing Mexican cuisine, followed by performances at 7:00 PM by D-E students, faculty members, and friends, as well as a professional mariachi band.
Come and hear from D-E Language Arts faculty member Aldo Bautista and retired Lower School Spanish teacher Janet Glass, as they talk about their educational mission in rural Oxaca, Mexico. All net proceeds from the Fiesta Mexicana will go to support teacher training and educational outreach initiatives.
Tickets are available at the door for $10 (Students) and $20 (General Admission). Cash / checks will be accepted, as will additional monetary donations.
