In the first competitive league match, the state ranked Leonia Lions proved to be too tough for the Lady Bulldogs, dropping in two sets 15-25, 13-25. While set 1 proved very competitive, the bulldogs were down 11-12 at one point, they were unable to match Leonia's ball control causing the Lions to go on a 13 to 4 run. Unable to gain much traction, the Bulldogs dropped set 2 due to many unforced errors. Hoping to regain footing, they are back on campus Thursday for their home opener versus Harrision at 4pm in Modell's Sports Complex.
