Spanish students in middle school harvest an ancient variety of field corn used to make tortillas while other classes explore plant morphology -- and dig up root vegetables. Middle school garden club enjoys recipes that include our own potatoes, leeks, garlic, herbs, tomatoes and eggplant. And the Garden Project committee is planning its first work day. Get involved in the garden this month by joining this parent volunteer group in a mulching workday on November 3rd from 1:00-4:30 in the big garden. Contact Tasha Urbanowski x3237 for details.
