All D-E families, faculty/staff, alumni and friends are invited to enjoy an intriguing evening conversation on Homer's The Illiad.
The 2nd Annual Leggett Umpleby Lecture will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 PM in Hajjar Auditorium, located in the Klein Campus Center. The theme for this year's lecture is "The Illiad: Homer's Hierarchy of Needs".

Before he was a teacher, Mr. Biondolino spent nearly two decades touring nationally and internationally as a professional ballet dancer and musical theater performer. He was the valedictorian of his graduating class of Hunter College where he holds a BA as Latin major, history minor, and Thomas Hunter Honors student, Phi Beta Kappa. He holds a Masters of Education with a history concentration from Harvard University in addition to twenty six credits in Latin Adolescent Education and history from Hunter College.
The event is the second of a new annual series featuring D-E faculty members discussing interesting, timeley topics within their area of expertise. Admission is free. Free parking is available in all D-E parking lots.
