Leggett-Umpleby Lecture from Marisol Diaz, Visual Arts Chair

The 2018 Leggett-Umpleby Lecture will be delived by Marisol Diaz, Chair of D-E Visual Arts Department, on Monday, Nov. 19 at 7:00 PM in the Hajjar Auditorium at Klein Campus Center on the D-E School campus.
The annual event showcases members of the D-E faculty speaking on timely topics. With the intriguing teaser question, "Are You A FedgeFog?" Ms. Diaz will discuss neo-generalism, education reform, and the future and the role of art in today's society. Past Leggett Umpley Lecture topics have covered "Fake News" from MS History teacher Meredith ("Mimi") Garcia and US Language faculty member WIlliam ("Bill") Biondolino on "The Illiad: Homer's Hierarchy of Needs."  

The lecture is free and open to the public.
