The lady bulldogs officially opened their season Thursday, September 12th in Modell Sports Complex. The team started out slow, shaking out the nerves, but had some excellent rallies, coming back to win 26-24. The injury of starting Middle Blocker, Lexi Mayer, proved to be difficult to overcome in games 2 and 3, DE dropped those games 14-25, 17-25.
Highlights: Senior Libero Carly Abramowitz had 26 digs while Junior Outside Hitter Miranda Duster led the team with 8 kills. The bulldogs play Queen of Peace next Tuesday, 9/17.
