DE Drops Tight Match to Rival Leonia
The volleyball team lost a naii bitter to rival opponent Leonia today in 3 sets: 26-28, 25-21, 23-25. While the bulldogs certainly had their chances to take the victory, they were unable to surpass the tenacity of the lady lions. Lead performances were by Junior OH Stella Mayer with 8 kills, Senior Setter Alexa Kaufman with 5 kills, 7 asssists. Freshman Allison Taylor also offered up 7 assists and a career high 9 digs while defensive standout Carly Abramowitz chipped in 24 digs for the effort.
