The Girls MS Basketball team suffered their second loss of the season to a strong and well-coached group from MKA. The opponents were deep, with 20 girls on their team, strong and fast. The bulldogs played strong pressure defense especially early and late in the game, forcing multiple turnovers and playing with heart and strength. They were able to hold MKA to only 13 at halftime. The offense was a bit flustered, however, by MKA's size and depth and struggled for much of the game to put together a run. Their were numerous fouls committed by both teams which slowed the pace of the game way done and played away from the Bulldog's strength. In the end, The bulldogs battled but were defeated 28-20. Strong overall performances from Hannah Brown, Anika Russak, Phoebe Snyder and Linda Chen as well as starters Ryan Rodgers, Emily Katz, Lilly Arang, Hannah Brown and Victoria Kong.
