DE pulls out the victory vs Queen of Peace
The energy was electric in Modell's Sports Complex Thursday night as the lady bulldogs took on league opponent Queen of Peace Griffens. DE came out flat in the first set losing 18-25 but battled back to take sets two and three 25-21 and 27-25 respectively. The third set, as the score indicates, was back and forth with both opponents earning their points. With the bulldogs down 24-22, Stella Mayer had 3 straight kills to tie up the match before heading back to serve. Her serves proved too much to handle and DE earned the win.
