The MS lady bulldogs played hard and strong to beat a depleted Alpine Middle School team on Thursday 32-6. Alpine had only 5 players, but the DE girls put together some good passing and the motion offense really came together well. While turnovers were a problem, the biggest improvement to note was an impressive defense and excellent rebounding. Phoebe Snyder, Julia Taub and Peri Cook enjoyed extended playing time and all played very well. Ryan Rodgers and Victoria Kong both also played very strong gathering in several rebounds and scoring on multiple put packs. Emily Katz led the offense at point guard for most of the game and her strong leadership kept the offense moving well. In addition, she added 8 points of her own. Excellent team effort from start to finish.
