Les Misérables® School Edition Performing March 3-5

D-E Performing Arts Department proudly presents Les Misérables ® School Edition, performing LIVE Friday, March 3, through Sunday, March 5, in Schenck Auditorium, Khubani Performing Arts Center on the D-E School campus.

Featuring students from all three divisions of the School (Lower, Middle and Upper), this musical is adapted from the award-winning original production that has been performed all over the world.  "Les Miz" tells the story of Jean Valjean as he is being released from prison for steaing a loaf of bread until his death twenty-seven years later.  The backdrop is France and the streets of Paris in the early 1800's.  It is a story of struggle, redemption, and hope.

Both the opening night Friday, March 3 and the Saturday, March 4 performances are at 7:30 PM.  The Sunday, March 5 matinee performance is at 2:00 PM. Following the opening night performance, D-E Parents' Association Friends of the Arts (FOTA) will host a reception to which the cast, crew, and the audience are all invited.

Music Theatre International states, "Epic, grand and uplifting,
Les Misérables® School Edition packs an emotional wallop that has thrilled audiences all over the world... [it] features one of the most memorable scores of all time and some of the most memorable characters ever to grace your stage."

Tickets are available for sale in the School Store (Klein Campus Center) and/or 30 minutes prior to curtain time. Tickets are priced at $15 (Center section) and $14 (Side sections).
