"Homelessness is on the rise; this is an opportunity to help individuals in need who are located in local, surrounding towns," explains Upper School (US) student Elena Latinski-Ortiz, who together with US student India Kerr is leading a "Helping The Homeless" D-E Upper School Donations Drive.
The Helping the Homeless Drive is underway now through Friday, May 12. The Upper School is being specifically asked to help out, but all D-E families and friends are welcome to contribute. Collection bins are located throughout key US areas including Klein Campus Center. Clothing and shoes are requested; additional supplies may be accepted*. All donations collected will be given to area homeless shelters and relief centers.
