Go Bulldogs! D-E Winter Athletic Milestones

Athletes on the School's winter sports teams are making major strides (and in some cases, D-E School history) with their recent competitions on the track and on the court. In the apt words of D-E Athletic Director Chris Schmid, "it's a great time to be a Bulldog!"

Jordan McKoy '18 made his 1000th career point on January 13 when D-E Boys' Varsity Basketball Team played Dwight Morrow HS in a recent Public vs. Private Tournament held at Bergen Community College.

Jeremy Bronstein '18, already known on the track for his dominating distance running, earned 2nd place AND set a NEW D-E School record in the 1600(Mile)(4.36) in his first-ever winter track meet at the recent NJIC Championship.

And at the State Indoor Track Relays held January 19 in Toms River, the Bulldogs scored in five events to place 5th, achieving the following:

Naseer Wilson '18 cleared 6 feet and Folajimi Olutiola achieved 5' 4"as Dwight-Englewood WON the boys high jump (combined heights of both athletes together).

India Marseille '20 and Adia Guthrie '21 set a NEW D-E School Indoor Track record and finished in 3rd place for the Shot Put Relay (combined throws of both athletes together).

Victoria Kong '18 and Paulina Chartouni '20 TIED the D-E School Indoor Track record for the High Jump relay (combined heights of both athletes together).
