First D-E garden work day

Many thanks to the amazing Garden Project P.A. volunteers! On October

4th parents and students teamed up to welcome the school chickens to

their new coop, plant bulbs, paint benches, and shift many loads of

mulch onto the garden paths.

We had a wonderful turn out and got a

lot done: many hands make light work! Our next work party, during

which we “put the garden to bed for the winter” is November 1st 2-4pm.
