College Information Sessions
Approximately one hundred colleges visit the College Guidance Office each year.
It is the student’s responsibility to sign up through SCOIR: https://app.scoir.com/signin to meet with the admissions representative. Seniors, are allowed to be excused from of class with their teacher’s permission, which must be requested 48 hours in advance. Juniors are welcome to attend, during a free period. This is an excellent opportunity for students (not parents) to meet with college representatives and make an impression since this is often the individual who will be representing the student in an admissions committee review.
Off-Campus College Visit Request
This form is filled out and singed by teachers, a parent, the College Counseling director, personal and class dean one week prior to the college visit. Seniors are allwered four excused absences and juniors are permitted two days per academic year for college visits. Students are responsible for all missed work while they are away.

List of Preliminary Colleges
Seniors are encouraged to enter all their list of following colleges and their level of interest in each to their SCOIR account by the first day of school.
