The Curriculum

Clubs

We are dedicated to providing an environment that promotes learning in diverse ways about our complex, dynamic world.
We believe clubs play a significant role in the development of our students.  Clubs allow for students to explore their passions outside of academics and to gain leadership skills.

In Middle School, clubs provide opportunities for students to discover and pursue their particular abilities, talents and interests.  They also encourage students to find their voice, make choices and take leadership roles in areas of interest to them.  Finally, because our clubs are open to all grades within each division, students learn to work with the D-E community.

In Upper School, opportunities expand exponentially.  We view extra curricular involvement as opportunities for students to grow personally and develop critical leadership skills while pursuing areas of interest, or perhaps curiosity.  In the structure of our Upper School schedule, students are able to engage in various areas of interest ranging from music to community service to robotics.
