Junior Haley Brescia was recently honored as The Record Female Athlete of the Week, in recognition of her significant contributions as a standout Girls Varsity Basketball player.  Brescia's impressive performance in a game against Hoboken is just one factor for her earning this deserved recognition; she scored no less than 39 points. 

A member of the D-E Girls Varsity Soccer and Softball Teams as well, Brescia's talents go beyond those she capably displays on the playing field and court; she's also an accomplished violinist, playing with the D-E ensemble StringJam and having traveled this past summer with the D-E Touring Orchestra on a performance tour to the United Kingdom.
