Having Their Say: PAS "Project Ourway" on May 1

Liz Tausner
This Saturday, May 1, the D-E Promotional Arts Society (PAS), an Upper School student club, will host its second annual "Project Ourway", a collaboration of the visual and performing arts.  The event kicks off with a gallery exhibition at 6:30-7:00 p.m. with student artwork on display in the School's Hajjar Auditorium.  Stop-gap animation, videos, student-written and student-directed performances, and a wearable art show round out the rich mix of this year's artistic offerings being exhibited from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m.  Admission to the event is free, with a $5.00 suggested donation at the door that will be used to offset PAS operating costs and help to continue the tradition of supplying an intriging fine arts experience.  Refreshments will be provided.

Isabella Giancarlo, PAS President, notes:  "Project Ourway was a huge success last year, with more than 25 different artists displayed, 5 student one-acts, and approximately 125 people in attendance.  This year's event promises to be equally if not more memorable!  We look forward to welcoming all D-E students, parents, family and friends to Hajjar Auditorium for Project Ourway."
