D-E Debate Team Wins 1st
Congratulations to our D-E Debate Team, for their recent 1st Place finish at the Bergen County Debate League tournament, held last week at Tenafly Middle School.
Josh Davis '14, gave us this recap following the team's victory: "D-E did very well at our meet; we had three teams go undefeated (4-0) -- Krish Pamani/Spencer Papay, Joshua Popkin/Mike Chen, Noah Golub/me. Additionally, Noah Golub took second-place speaker, Joshua Popkin earned third-place speaker, and Noah Golub and I won first-place team. Teams Matthew Wang/Amy Wang and Julia Bront/Michelle Boukhover also had strong performances, beating some of the best teams in the league. This was an enormous accomplishment for us considering we went against some of our fiercest rivals in the county."
