Dress Drive Provides 30 Donations to Becca's Closet
From April 29 to May 6, several CODES members held a Dress Drive to gather donations for Becca's Closet, a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide formal wear to deserving high school students.
From April 29 to May 6, several CODES members held a Dress Drive to gather donations for Becca's Closet, a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide formal wear to deserving high school students. During the weeklong drive, approximately 30 gently used party dresses were collected. According to Arielle Witter '13, who with fellow senior Ghenesis Mendez led the drive for the second year in a row, "There are many girls who never had an opportunity to attend their proms because they could not afford a dress; this is our chance to help."
