The girls MS team faced a scrappy Green Meadow team from Southern New York on Thursday, and for much of the first half it was a close game. After a flurry of baskets in the first quarter, a loose and scrappy defensive struggle ensued with DE holding on to a 3 point lead for much of the second quarter, but by halftime and throughout the 3rd quarter the Bulldogs began to demonstrate their power and stamina pulling away to a 20 point lead by the last quarter. Led by Anika Russak, Ryan Rodgers, Carina Erickson and Jenan Gagnon all had stand-out performances. Great team effort and win.
