The middle school boys blue soccer team pulled off another win in the high scoring 7-4 game against Horace Mann. Because this was a 7th grade only game, our blue sevens were joined by four players from the white team. With our newly assembled team, it took a while to warm up as Horace Mann came out and scored two goals and finished the half with a 2-1 lead. The blue team recovered though, especially in the second half. Davis Lee ended up with 3 goals, including one with a setup pass from Mikey Minkin and another with a dish from Mete Ehliz. Other goals came from Mikey Minkin, Jacobi Kroll, Javi Ibarguen, and Jack Sauma. Jack Kane played an excellent defensive game, using his speed to his advantage and often coming out of nowhere to shut down Horace Mann's forwards.
