Catch the DogPound Update - featuring the Latest News from D-E Athletics!

Welcome from Chris Schmid, Athletics Director

The spirit of the scholar-athlete—those students who are equally achieving in academics and athletics—permeates the Dwight-Englewood School (D-E) culture.
D-E makes every effort to hire the most qualified coaches we can find to ensure that our students’ have a positive and successful interscholastic athletic experience. Athletics provides the forum through which our students, parents, faculty and alumni can assemble to reflect their sense of pride, spirit and unity as a school community.

I am very proud of the accomplishments of our athletes, coaches and staff, but most importantly, I am excited for what each new season will bring and hope that you choose to be a part of the Bulldog Nation.

I look forward to seeing you on the fields and at the courts. For current schedules of all D-E games in-season please click here or on the "Calendar & Directions" to Venues link above. A full list of all athletic teams is available from the "Team Pages" link above or click here.
