Health and Wellness

The goal of the Health and Wellness program at Dwight-Englewood School is to educate students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make healthy lifestyle choices. In kindergarten, the primary focus is on understanding the basic terms and concepts for each lesson.
Physical Education
Twice a week/30 minutes
  • Basic locomotor and non‐locomotor skills and concepts
  • Spatial awareness and body control
  • Fundamental manipulative/sport skills (kick, throw, catch, dribble, strike)
